I’ve always been a daydreamer. With all the constant change I experienced growing up I would dream stories that helped me digest experiences, hear from God, and push my imagination. 2018 was of the hardest years I’ve ever had and as we start 2019 I wondered what story I want to create.
I did a lot last year. I ran my third half marathon and fourth Army 10 Miler. I started an instagram account to hold myself accountable to practice my lettering and begin building an online presence for my freelance career. I opened my first investment accounts and saved up enough money to move. I grew in my faith. And on that faith, I made my way to Austin, TX without a job. I’m now starting my third job of my career in a new city and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes me.
There are so many goals I’m working towards in 2019: building my freelance business, running 2,019 miles, and improving my writing. I want to explore Austin and use my new home base as a jumping off point to explore the southwest. Maybe starting writing down my favorite recipes. But overall I just want to live an intentional life. Last year I started taking the first steps towards some of my long-term goals and it’s been nice to see how small steps turn into big moves.
Here’s to 2019!
